Rising star Laetitia Gradassi makes a full range of great value whites and reds in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Lirac. The flagship wine of the estate from 4 different plots around Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Blend is 85:10:5 GSM with more Mourvèdre than Syrah. Fermented in concrete tanks to preserve fruit layers. Aged in 50% large barrels, 30% small barrels, 20% concrete before blending. Aging potential of 10-20 years. Best paired with meat and game bird dishes. JEB DUNNUCK 92-94+: The 2022 Châteauneuf Du Pape Le Calice De Saint Pierre showed beautifully, with remarkable purity in its red, blue, and black fruits as well as peppery garrigue, spice, and floral nuances. Complex, medium to full-bodied, and concentrated, with a gorgeous texture, it's a no-brainer purchase from this classic Châteauneuf du Pape estate. This cuvée is 85% Grenache, 10% Mourvèdre, and the rest Syrah that was partially destemmed and is still aging in a mix of foudre, demi-muids, old barrels, and concrete tanks.
