2023 Domaine AF Gros Beaune 1er Cru Les Boucherottes

JASPER MORRIS MW 90-92: Mid purple, just slightly reductive, so the wine comes across as a little bit meatier than the Côte de Nuits village wines already tasted. Sound, with some lifted cherry fruit now coming through, with quite a persistent finish, growing in elegance. Drink from 2030-2035. Tasted Oct 2024. ALLEN MEADOWS 89-92: …the expressive nose is super-fresh with its mix of various bright red berries and newly turned earth aromas. There is excellent intensity and detail to the delicious middle weight flavors that conclude in a dusty and balanced though less complex and mineral-driven finish. Even so, this is lovely and a wine that should be reasonably approachable after only 3 to 5 years if desired. Drink 2030+.
