TURKEY REDS – 3 bottles
Lighter reds to start an evening and to go with turkey or simple fare, Manincor’s Der Keil is similar in profile to a Langhe Nebbiolo, the Fleurie is a quaffer, and the Moulin-à-Vent is just delicious.
Manincor Der Keil 2019
From various ancient clones of Vernatsch or Schiava. Bright, soft-hued ruby. Delicately fruity on the nose with pretty cherry and toasted almond aromas, juicy on the palate, extremely quaffable and elegant on the finish. Perfect for a big bowl of pasta or a simple Pizza Margherita.
Le Fleurie de Vicky Fleurs des Champs 2018
From the north of Beaujolais, between Les Thorins and Le Point du Jour. A lovely wine served lightly chilled, full of fruit, with a lively floral nose, typical of Fleurie. An easy-going and charming wine. Serve this deliciously versatile wine with simple fare.
